Her World
She had two functions to get ready for — and a very clear idea of what she didn’t want. Heavy makeup. Dramatic eyes. Anything that would make her look like someone else.
Her Vision
Before they even met, Anisha sent Romma her outfit photos and a reference picture.
Two functions. Two outfits. One ask — to look like herself in both.
The Conversation
Romma looked at the outfits carefully. The Sangeet lehenga was ivory — all crystal and light, modern and luminous. The wedding lehenga was deep red with green kundan jewellery — rich, traditional, layered. Two completely different worlds. The makeup had to speak differently in each.
For the Sangeet — a warm golden eye, soft and glowing. Nothing competing with the ivory. The focus: her skin, her smile, her energy on the dance floor. For the wedding — the green kundan was doing the work. Romma kept the eye soft, the lip warm. Let the jewellery have its moment. Let Anisha have hers.

The Morning
She arrived at the studio early. Romma had already prepared everything — the products, the light, the calm that a good studio holds on a big morning. When she was done, she stepped out into the world looking exactly like herself.
When she stood up ready — crystal dupatta falling just right, golden eye catching the studio light — she didn’t look like a bride getting ready. She looked like someone who had been ready her whole life.
The next morning, a message arrived:

Her Words
“Right from the start you made me feel relaxed in this hectic schedule. Wish I knew you earlier. Best team, led by the best leader.”
